Hi, reader and new friend!

My name is Amanda. I go by Amanda - Mandy is you're my family or my best friend. But hey, you can call me Mandy if you want! Some of my favorite things: coffee, bookstores, fro yo, wildflowers, small towns, and real people. I love my Savior. I have a husband that I adore. My family is crazy and I love every bit of them. I don't like being hot. I just started an herb garden. I like scrapbooking. I like writing. I'm bad at talking about myself. If you can't tell ;-)

I have a rare liver disease and am awaiting a transplant. That was a big shocker dropped into my life a few months ago. This blog started because of that. I am trying to let God use this experience for His glory and so I'm sharing my story with you all. No question is off limits - so if you're wondering something, ask away!

Besides that, I'm pretty normal and typical except for some weird quirks that I'm sure will be shared over the course of this blogging journey. Stay tuned!
